At Maxoptra, we talk a lot about our industry-leading technology. And, who can blame us?
However, another reason our customers love us so much is because of our team. In fact, in recent customer surveys our teams have scored on average 9.5/10 throughout Sales, Implementation, and Support.
To celebrate the people behind MaxOptra, we are running a series of team profiles. So you can get to know us a little better.
Today we are featuring one of our customers’ favourite MaxOptra team members. Affectionately known to us as ‘TrustPilot Chris’!
My Name is Chris and I am an Implementations Manager here at MaxOptra.
I have worked for MaxOptra for 4 years. Wow, time flies when your having fun!
I started my professional career working for Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC where I learnt a lot of my core skills in Customer Service, Project Management and Change Management.
After a 10 year stint, I made the decision to move into the field of logistics and joined Amazon. This was a massive learning experience for me as I found my feet in the world of Logistics but I was soon hooked by the fast pace and daily challenges that you find when working in this sector.
Due to family commitment I was looking to relocate to a different city in the UK, it was at this time I was approached by MaxOptra to join the Implementation Team. After coming to the Brighton office on a few occasions to meet the Team I was pleased to accept the role and have never looked back since.
Everyday is a school day. I love that fact that nothing stands still in the world of MaxOptra, we are always looking at developing the system for the benefit of our customers and to see the changes and support we offer amazes me daily. I also love the fact that I get to work with different clients from different areas of the logistics field and no two customers are the same.
Working from home during lockdown could have been isolating and lonely however the whole team always made sure they checked in on each other and even arranged a remote “fun day” where we did the mandatory Teams quiz plus lots of other fun and engaging games. The thank you gifts were also a nice touch!
Don’t know if I can pick just one! I LOVE the fact that MaxOptra is so versatile and can be set-up to meet the needs of such a large array of different customers, from bike deliveries all the way trough to HGV’s.
It has to be supporting our customers in making their business “greener” and sustainable for the future. We do this by reducing the miles the drivers are doing, reducing the fleet size and removing paperwork. This is all done with their customers at the forefront of our minds to ensure satisfaction is also at its highest level.
I truly believe MaxOptra is in a really good place and leading the way with the route optimisation software. We have the infrastructure to deal and adapt to any changes that may come in the future. Likewise, our customer service is second to none, so as long as we continue to progress and keep the customer at the heart of everything we do, then the sky is the limit.
As I mentioned previously, MaxOptra never stands still, we have some of the best developers and Product Managers and their work and desire will ensure that MaxOptra remains the best in its class for route optimisation and final mile deliveries.
I am a Dad of a 15 and 16 year old so they take up most of my free time, mainly as their personal taxi driver or cleaning up after them. When I do get the time (and the TV remote) I enjoy watching the sport.
