Software Implementation Consultant, Maxoptra

Full time (flexible working options available) | home-based and mobile | Salary up to £35,000 pa depending on experience

We are an innovative SaaS software provider looking for an Implementation Consultant to ensure our customers are provided with excellent support, training and guidance. As a part of this role you will work with new customers to get them up and running with Maxoptra software. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent customer communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Maxoptra is an online SaaS logistics software which combines dynamic route optimisation, vehicle tracking, real-time progress monitoring and customer ETA messaging. It helps our customers, delivery and field service companies, build excellent consumer experience, focus on customer service and efficiently utilize their fleet.

The role:
As a business, we believe in investing in good people to help drive our business forward. As a result, we are looking for a well-organized Software Implementation Consultant to join our UK-based Maxoptra implementations team.

You will be responsible for helping customers implement the Maxoptra solution. This will include planning, managing and executing the implementation project, training customers on Maxoptra, helping them solve their problems.

Key tasks will include:

  • Managing up to 10 simultaneous software implementation projects for new Maxoptra customers;
  • Telephone, internet, email and in-person communications with new and existing Maxoptra customers;
  • On-site visits to customers when required (a personal car and readiness to travel is a requirement);

  • Making sure the implementation project is on track, providing adequate visibility to all stakeholders and doing everything necessary to complete the project on time or early;
  • Training the end users on Maxoptra, answering their questions and helping to solve their problems;
  • Providing expertise on the Maxoptra product for customers and partners when required;
  • Working in a team of 3-5 other customer success managers to share knowledge, experience, provide help;
  • Taking part in streamlining and automating our implementation processes, designing and implementing tools to constantly increase our team’s capacity to handle more implementations;
  • Utilising the support team for customer-related tasks and problem investigations;
  • Working with our product development team to aggregate and translate formalize customers feedback, working within the product roadmap committee to help prioritise development.

Skills & experience:

  • At least 3 years in software development or implementation projects;
  • Strong customer communication skills showing confidence and care for the customer;
  • Excellent project management skills, able to handle multiple projects at any one time and deal with stakeholders to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met on time and within budget;
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and skill;
  • Ability to work under pressure and stress;
  • The ability to work effectively in a remote team environment – based at home but working with others both within the UK and overseas;
  • Experience in distribution / logistics is beneficial.

Our working environment:
Magenta Technology has two offices in the UK – one in London and one in Brighton, both with close links to our international offices located in Russia. This role will be home-based but there are regular meetings in both UK offices which you will be required to attend. The nature of work will also require regular visits to the customer sites throughout the UK. We manage a lot of our communication using Skype and GoToMeeting so being comfortable working in this way is definitely something to think about.
