Solution Support Engineer, Maxoptra

Full time (flexible working options available) | Brighton-based | Salary £25,000 - £35,000 pa depending on experience.

We are an innovative SaaS software provider looking for a creative and communicative Solution Support Engineer with solid IT knowledge and skills to help design solutions and support our premium customers. As a part of this role you will work with potential and new customers to provide technical and product expertise and solve problems. This is a hands-on role requiring good technical, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Maxoptra is an online SaaS logistics software which combines dynamic route optimisation, vehicle tracking, real-time progress monitoring and customer ETA messaging. It helps our customers, delivery and field service companies, build excellent consumer experience, focus on customer service and efficiently utilize their fleet.

The role:

As a business, we believe in investing in good people to help drive our business forward. As a result, we are looking for a well-organized Solution Support Engineer to join our UK-based Maxoptra implementations team. You will be responsible for designing and supporting Maxoptra-based solutions for new and potential customers. This will include consulting, designing and managing integrations, training customers on Maxoptra, helping them solve their problems.

Key tasks will include:

  • Consulting the sales team, prospects and customers on technical aspects of the product, including but not limited to API, integration, configuration, deployment, etc.
  • Designing solutions based on Maxoptra that fit customer requirements.
  • Perform presale modellings by uploading customer data into Maxoptra, running optimization and reporting results.
  • Investigating system issues and communicating findings clearly to the development team and to the customer.
  • Supporting premium customers over email, phone and occasional on-site visits.
  • Designing requirements for new functionality, overseeing implementation and testing.
  • Implementing simple automation for internal and customer needs

Skills & experience:

  • IT education.
  • Demonstrable practical experience in creating or supporting IT solutions.
  • Ability to program simple automation scripts using the language/tool of choice
  • Good understanding of technical concepts like API, XML, JSON, DB, SQL, HTTP, etc.
  • Good communication skills – ability to communicate with colleagues and customers confidently, clearly and respectfully over email, phone and in person
  • Self-motivation and self-management with little oversight required
  • Good self-organisation skills to be able to keep track of multiple simultaneous projects and deliver them on time
  • Ability to learn and immediately apply new technologies, tools and methods
  • A positive, problem-solving oriented mindset
  • Experience in distribution / logistics is beneficial.

Account Executive, Maxoptra

Full time (flexible working options available) | Brighton-based | Salary £55,000 OTE depending on experience.

Maxoptra is an online SaaS logistics software which combines dynamic route optimisation, vehicle tracking, real-time progress monitoring and customer ETA messaging. It helps our customers, delivery and field service companies, build excellent consumer experience, focus on customer service and efficiently utilize their fleet.

The role:

You will be responsible for identification and delivery of profitable contract based business for the Maxoptra distribution and field service scheduling solutions, primarily from small medium enterprises in the UK.

Key tasks will include:

  • Sales revenue and margin against target.
  • Sales activity levels against target.
  • Pipeline value and conversion ratio.
  • Appropriate and demonstrable use of selling skills.
  • Maintain necessary levels of company, customer and competitor knowledge.
  • Maintenance of good business relationships and credibility with Colleagues.
  • Rapidly building and maintaining an understanding of Maxoptra’s capabilities and value proposition, the marketplace and competitors
  • Manage and expand the sales pipeline and assist in maximising the lead generation campaigns
  • Reviewing assigned leads and evaluating potential opportunities
  • Making appointments with decision makers
  • Arranging and undertaking the appropriate number of online customer meetings, demonstrations and presentations
  • Identifying key decision makers, preparing and presenting effective proposals repositioning the product as required
  • Negotiating and closing the sale
  • Assist in identifying changing needs within the market, feedback information to ensure the product remains appropriate and competitive
  • Attend all sales meetings, company organised training programmes or courses and national/international events when necessary
  • Complete sales order documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner ensuring that accurate records are maintained both for existing and new prospects/clients
  • Complete weekly/monthly reports or forecasts as required
  • Ensure all information is collated and entered on the company database/CRM system
  • Generally, act as an ambassador for the company, looking to promote services wherever and to whoever possible

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATIONS

Skills & experience:

Essential:

  • Significant post-secondary education.
  • Experienced SME New Business Hunter.
  • Inside Sales Expert
  • Ability to gain sufficient understanding of customer needs and objectives in order to provide a convincing solution presentation with Finance, Logistics, and/or Commercial Directors/Owners in prospect organisations
  • A comprehensive network and understanding of the business opportunities which currently exist and those which may occur in the future in the logistics, and field service sectors
  • At least two successful years in B2B inside sales involving the devising and presenting solutions to enhance business processes based ideally around SaaS
  • Experience of SaaS and Cloud technologies
  • Proven Track record of sales target overachievement
  • Effective in using business and social networks to create and exploit contacts
  • Current appreciation of CRM and database methodologies
  • Have a High-level of understand data entry into CRM

Desirable:

  • Post-secondary qualification - HND/Degree.
  • Vocational Sales Training.
  • Member of appropriate Institute:, Sales & Marketing,/Logistics
  • Experience of business to business marketing methodologies
  • FMCG sales training with a major corporate
  • Experience of working in a small developing company

Business Development Executive, Maxoptra

Full time (flexible working options available) | Brighton-based | Salary £24,000 pa depending on experience.

The role:

To provide the agreed number of qualified leads and appointments from the target market.

Key tasks will include:

  • Generate leads using the latest techniques and tools, including leveraging marketing content via social media channels, attending marketing events and generating referrals
  • Engage with senior decision makers in educate them on our product features and benefits and qualify the potential opportunity
  • Making business to business outbound calls generating leads and organising sales appointments
  • Effectively use the crm to log calls, outcomes and manage the database.
