London, 24 January 2017: Vtec Solutions, a leading provider of TomTom telematics, has signed a reseller agreement with Maxoptra, the number one name in dynamic vehicle routing and scheduling software. Based in Scotland, Vtec provides a range of solutions for mobile businesses, including its FleetiQ fleet performance initiative, and has repeatedly been awarded TomTom Telematics Reseller of the Year for the UK and Ireland. The agreement with Maxoptra will allow Vtec to deliver integrated route planning and optimisation technology within its existing award winning fleet management offering.

“Vtec is a proven partner for mobile business solutions, and is recognised by TomTom as being one of the best,” commented Stuart Brunger, Maxoptra’s Business Development Director. “By signing up to the Maxoptra Reseller Programme, Vtec can now offer the most advanced dynamic routing and scheduling functionality, enabling efficient decision making – in real time – within rapidly changing operational environments to its growing user base of distribution and field service operators.”

Vtec is already a TomTom Business Telematics Platinum Reseller, supplying vehicle tracking, fleet optimisation and workforce management solutions to organisations such as Scot JCB, William Tracey and Davidsons Animal Feeds, as well as Inverclyde, East Renfrewshire, West Dunbartonshire Councils and Ayrshire and Arran NHS. Vtec takes pride in delivering the best customer experience and service, with dedicated Account Managers and guaranteed response times. Vtec also recently launched its innovative FleetiQ support and processes relationship programme, designed to help businesses make the most of telematics data.

“The addition of the Maxoptra cloud based route planning and optimisation software within our existing solution portfolio was a natural progression,” added Paul Cochrane, Managing Director of Vtec Solutions. “Maxoptra is easy to use, affordable and highly customisable, and integrates seamlessly with our TomTom installations. By adopting Maxoptra as part of the FleetiQ programme, our clients can take their fleet management to the next level with intelligent route planning, dynamic route optimisation, real time adjustments and accurate ETA predictions.”
